Aholibamah, also written Abolibamah, was one of Esau’s three wives and the daughter of Anah. In the earlier narrative she is called Judith, which may have been her original name.
Aholibamah is recorded among Esau’s wives in the genealogy of Edom and is identified as the mother of his sons.
The name is explained as “my tabernacle is exalted.” The difference between Judith in the earlier account and Aholibamah in the later account is noted in the supplied records.
