Aiah
Aiah was a Horite, son of Zibeon, and brother of Anah. The name was also borne by the father of Rizpah, Saul’s concubine.

Biblical Usage
The first Aiah appears in the genealogy of Seir and Edom. The second is identified through Rizpah, whose sons were later hanged in connection with Saul’s wrong against the Gibeonites.
Historical Background
The name is explained as “falcon” or “clamor.” In one passage it appears in the form Ajah.
