The Valley of Berachah was a valley in which Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah assembled after the defeat of the Moabites. Its name reflects the blessing offered to Jehovah for the victory.
After the overthrow of the Moabite forces, Jehoshaphat and his people gathered in the valley to bless Jehovah. It is mentioned in connection with the victory recorded in 2 Chronicles 20:26.
The valley is now called Bereikut and lies between Tekoa and the main road from Bethlehem to Hebron.
