In the King James Version of Ge 33:19; Jos 24:32; Ru 4:3; 1Ch 11:13,14 it is the translation of chelqah; Joh 4:5 of chorion--both the Greek and Hebrew words meaning a "piece of land." the Revised Version (British and American) writes "plot" in 1Ch 11:13,14, but if the change was needed at all, it should have been made throughout.</p>
