TOWER OF SHECHEM
The Tower of Shechem was one of the fortified strongholds of Shechem, together with the Beth-millo and Beth-berith. During Abimelech’s attack, its defenders abandoned it and took refuge in the Beth-millo, where they were destroyed.

The Tower of Shechem was one of the strongest parts of Shechem’s fortification, together with the Beth-millo and Beth-el-berith. It was abandoned by its defenders during Abimelech’s siege.

It seems along with the Beth-millo and the Beth-el-berith to have comprised the three strongest parts of the fortification when Abimelech besieged the town.
