Absalom

Absalom was a son of David who rebelled against his father and briefly seized Jerusalem. His revolt ended when he was killed after becoming caught in a tree during battle.
Biblical Usage
Absalom’s rebellion forced David to flee Jerusalem. Absalom was proclaimed king at Hebron, but David’s forces defeated him. His hair caught in a tree as he fled, and Joab killed him despite David’s command that he be spared. David lamented his son bitterly.
