Achor, Valley Of
The Valley of Achor was the place near Jericho where Achan was stoned after taking devoted spoil from Jericho. It lay near the northern boundary of Judah.
Biblical Usage
The valley is mentioned in connection with Achan’s execution in Joshua 7:24,26.
