Adiel
Adiel was the name of several Israelites, including a Simeonite leader, a priestly ancestor, and the father of David’s treasurer Azmaveth.
Biblical Usage
The Simeonite Adiel led a campaign against the inhabitants of Gedor in the days of Hezekiah. Other men named Adiel occur in priestly and royal administrative genealogies.
