Agag
Agag was the title or name of Amalekite kings. Samuel executed the Agag whom Saul had spared, because Saul had disobeyed God’s command.
Biblical Usage
Saul spared Agag contrary to the divine command to destroy the Amalekites. Samuel rebuked Saul and ordered Agag brought out, then put him to death for the atrocities committed by him and his nation.
