AGONE
Agone is an obsolete form of “ago,” meaning previously or before the present time. It occurs in the account of David’s encounter with the Egyptian servant.
Biblical Usage
In the King James Version it occurs in the account of the Egyptian servant encountered by David, where the Revised Version uses “ago.”
