Alamoth
Alamoth means “virgins” and was a musical term. It probably indicated singing by high or soprano voices, or possibly a particular melody or instrument.
Biblical Usage
Alamoth appears in the title of Psalm 46 and in connection with the musical arrangements made for worship. The term probably directed how the psalm was to be sung.
