Alexander
Alexander was the name of several New Testament men, including a son of Simon of Cyrene, a relative of Annas, an Ephesian speaker, and opponents of Paul’s teaching.
Biblical Usage
The Alexanders are associated with the cross of Christ, the examination of Peter and John, the Ephesian disturbance, false teaching, and opposition to Paul. The sources do not establish that all these references concern one person.
