Amashai Or Amashai
Amashai was a priestly descendant of Azareel in Nehemiah’s time. He is probably the same person as Maasiai in the parallel genealogy.
Biblical Usage
Amashai is named among the priests connected with Jerusalem’s restored worship and temple service in the postexilic period.
