Ammonite

The Ammonites were descendants of Lot’s son Ben-ammi and lived east of the Jordan, north of Moab. They repeatedly fought Israel and worshiped Molech, including the practice of human sacrifice.
Biblical Usage
The Ammonites refused assistance to Israel, hired Balaam with the Moabites, fought Israel under Jephthah and Saul, and were defeated by David. The prophets pronounced judgment against them because of their hostility. Solomon’s Ammonite wife Naamah was the mother of Rehoboam.
