Angels
Angels & Spiritual Beings • Both
Angels are heavenly spiritual servants created by God, numerous and powerful, who worship Him and carry out His will. They minister to God’s people, announce His purposes, and will serve in the final judgment; fallen angels oppose God and await judgment.
Biblical Usage
Angels continually adore God, serve Christ, act as agents of providence, succor and defend people, minister grace, and execute judgment. Fallen angels are described as having left their first estate and as belonging to the devil, while God’s angels are called holy ones.
