ANTIOCH, OF PISIDIA
Antioch of Pisidia was a strategic city in Asia Minor and a Roman colony in the region of Galatia. Paul preached there during his missionary journeys, and opposition to his message eventually drove him onward.
Biblical Usage
Paul preached in the synagogue at Antioch and continued his missionary work there despite opposition. The city served as a base from which the mission spread through the surrounding region, and Paul passed through it during subsequent journeys.
