APT
Apt means fitted or ready for a particular need or situation. In biblical translation it describes readiness for war and a person’s suitability to teach.
Biblical Usage
English translations use “apt for war” and “apt to teach.” The latter represents the Greek word didaktikos and is applied to the qualifications of a teacher.
