ARABIC VERSIONS
Arabic versions are translations of the Bible made for Arabic-speaking Jewish and Christian communities. They were produced from Hebrew, Greek, Syriac, Coptic, and other versions, with surviving witnesses ranging from the medieval period onward.
Biblical Usage
These versions provided Arabic-speaking communities with the Scriptures. They include translations of the Pentateuch, historical books, prophetic writings, wisdom books, the Gospels, and the remaining New Testament books.
