ARRAY
Array means either clothing someone is dressed in or the orderly arrangement of an army for battle. Scripture uses the term for garments, splendid apparel, and military formation.
Biblical Usage
Scripture speaks of Joseph being arrayed in fine linen, Jesus being arrayed in gorgeous apparel, and persons clothed in various garments. It also uses array for armies set in battle order and for horsemen positioned at a gate.
