ASSENT
Assent means agreement or consent. In older English Bible usage it represents words translated more literally in later versions as “voice,” “mouth,” or “agree.”
Biblical Usage
The King James Version uses assent in two passages for the Hebrew word meaning mouth and the Greek expression meaning to agree or affirm.
