Bahurim
Bahurim was a village in Benjamin east of Jerusalem, on David’s flight from Absalom. Shimei lived there, and David’s messengers were hidden there.
Biblical Usage
Shimei lived there and cursed David while the king fled from Absalom. Jonathan and Ahimaaz were hidden there in a well. Paltiel parted from Michal there, and Azmaveth, one of David’s heroes, was a native of the place.
