CHIDON, THE THRESHING-FLOOR OF
The threshing-floor of Chidon was the place where Uzza died after touching the ark during its transportation. The parallel account in Samuel calls it the threshing-floor of Nachon.
Biblical Usage
Uzza died at this threshing-floor because he touched the ark. The event is recorded in 1 Chronicles 13:9 and paralleled in 2 Samuel 6:6.
