CHRISTIANITY
Christianity is the faith and life arising from Jesus Christ, whom believers confess as the Messiah, risen Lord, and Redeemer. It centers on reconciliation with God, forgiveness of sins, new spiritual life, and obedient love through Christ.
Biblical Usage
The New Testament presents Jesus as the Christ and risen Lord through whom God reconciles the world to Himself. Christianity is both doctrine and a rule of life, but in its essence is a new relation to God and humanity mediated through Christ.
