Cilicia
Cilicia was a province in southeastern Asia Minor and the homeland of Paul. Paul visited the region after his conversion and later strengthened the churches there.
Biblical Usage
Jews from Cilicia had a synagogue in Jerusalem, and Paul visited Cilicia after his conversion and again during his missionary journeys, strengthening the churches there. On his voyage to Rome he sailed across the sea off Cilicia.
