CONSENT
Consent is agreement, approval, or willing compliance with another’s direction. It may also describe mutual agreement between equal parties, as when believers act together by consent.
Biblical Usage
The phrase “by consent” describes mutual agreement. “With one consent” expresses unanimity and may suggest deliberation, consultation, or simply united action.
