Cotes
Cotes were pens or enclosed folds for sheep and other flocks. The term describes ordinary pastoral enclosures rather than a particular kind of building.
Biblical Usage
The term appears in the description of provisions made for flocks in 2 Chronicles 32:28. The Revised Version expresses the phrase as “flocks in folds.”
