Gallery
A gallery was a long, narrow balcony, colonnade, passageway, or terraced structure in biblical architecture. The term is especially associated with the galleries described in Ezekiel’s vision of the temple.
Biblical Usage
The principal biblical use is in Ezekiel’s description of the restored temple. The galleries helped distinguish that visionary temple from Solomon’s temple and were connected with its chambers and courts.
