Hagarene
A Hagarene was a person associated with the descendants or people of Hagar. The term describes individuals serving in David’s administration and a people east of Israel who fought against the Transjordanian tribes.
Biblical Usage
A Hagarene was among David’s mighty men, and Jaziz the Hagarene supervised David’s flocks. The Hagarites also fought against the Transjordanian tribes and later joined a confederacy against Israel.
