Hallelujah
A Hebrew expression meaning “Praise the LORD.” It appears frequently in the Psalms as a call or declaration of praise and is also used in heaven’s song in Revelation.
Biblical Usage
Hallelujah occurs in several groups of Psalms as an integral part of the song or as an opening or closing interjection. Its Greek form, alleluia, appears in the heavenly song in Revelation 19.
