Heaven
Heaven denotes the sky and the created heavens, and also the dwelling place of God and the eternal blessedness prepared for the righteous. Scripture speaks of heaven as the believer’s everlasting inheritance.
Biblical Usage
Scripture speaks of heaven as the firmament where birds fly, the starry realm, and the “heaven of heavens.” Spiritually, it is called the Father’s house, paradise, the heavenly Jerusalem, the kingdom of heaven, the eternal kingdom, and the believer’s eternal inheritance and prepared dwelling.
