Hermogenes
Hermogenes was a Christian associated with Paul who, along with others in Asia, turned away from the apostle during a time of trial.
Biblical Usage
Paul mentions Hermogenes in 2 Timothy 1:15 as one who turned away from him. The account presents his desertion as an example of disloyalty during a period of trial and contrasts with the kindness shown by Onesiphorus.
