Horim
The Horim, or Horites, were the early inhabitants of Mount Seir. Their name is associated with cave dwelling, and they were eventually displaced by the descendants of Esau.
Biblical Usage
The Horites appear in the early descriptions of the peoples occupying Mount Seir. The biblical record associates their territory with Edom and with the later displacement of its earlier inhabitants.
