Injurious describes conduct that is harmful, insulting, insolent, or abusive toward others. Paul used the term of his former opposition to the Christian faith.
Biblical Usage
Paul uses the term in 1 Timothy 1:13 of his former opposition to the Christian faith. The same Greek adjective is translated “insolent” in Romans 1:30 and “despiteful” in the King James Version.
