Nebuchadnezzar
Nebuchadnezzar was the powerful king of Babylon who conquered Judah, destroyed Jerusalem, and carried many Jews into exile. He also rebuilt Babylon and was humbled by God because of his pride.
Biblical Usage
Nebuchadnezzar appears as the king who conquered Judah, took Jerusalem, deported its people, and carried away the temple vessels. Daniel records his dealings with Daniel and his companions, the fiery furnace, and his humiliation by God because of pride and vanity.
