Nehushtan
Nehushtan was the name given to the bronze serpent made by Moses, which Israel later worshiped as an idol. King Hezekiah destroyed it during his reforms because the people burned incense to it.
Biblical Usage
The bronze serpent had been made in the wilderness, but later became an object of idolatrous worship. Hezekiah destroyed it as part of his reform and purification of Israel’s religion.
