Nicodemus
The Nicolaitans were a professing Christian group condemned in Revelation for corrupt teaching and conduct, including participation in idolatrous practices and sexual immorality.
Biblical Usage
Jesus taught Nicodemus the necessity of being born again and of spiritual regeneration. Nicodemus subsequently appealed to Jewish law in Jesus’ defense and joined in His burial, making a public act of reverence.
