Nile
Nimrah was a place east of the Jordan, probably connected with Beth-nimrah and associated with the tribe of Gad. It may have stood near the Wady Nimrin.
Biblical Usage
The Nile is repeatedly present in the biblical history of Egypt and Israel, including the narratives of Joseph and Israel’s bondage. Biblical references use names such as the river and Sihor rather than the word Nile.
