Nimrim, Waters of
Nimrod was a descendant of Cush who became a mighty ruler and hunter. His kingdom began in Shinar and included Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, with influence extending toward Assyria.
Biblical Usage
Isaiah and Jeremiah mention the stream in prophecies against Moab.
