Nisan
Nisroch was an Assyrian deity whose temple was the place where Sennacherib was killed by his sons. The identity of the god is otherwise uncertain.
Biblical Usage
Passover occurred during Nisan. The month is named in the post-exilic records of Nehemiah and Esther.
