Noah
Nob was a priestly city where the tabernacle stood during David’s flight from Saul. Saul later destroyed the city and killed its priests after learning that Ahimelech had helped David.
Biblical Usage
Noah was righteous, perfect among his contemporaries, and walked with God. God entered into a covenant with him, commanded him to build the ark, and preserved him, his family, and living creatures through the Flood. After leaving the ark, Noah built an altar and offered thanks to God.
