Nob
Nobah was an Israelite warrior who captured Kenath and gave it his name. Another place called Nobah marked Gideon’s pursuit of the Midianites, though its identity is uncertain.
Biblical Usage
David came to Nob while fleeing Saul and received refuge and provisions from Ahimelech. Doeg reported this to Saul, who later ordered the massacre of the priests and inhabitants of Nob. Isaiah placed the city where Jerusalem and the temple could be seen.
