PERDITION
Perdition means ruin, destruction, or final loss, in contrast with salvation. In its fullest biblical sense it describes the judgment and eternal destruction of the ungodly; “son of perdition” is applied to Judas and the man of sin.
Biblical Usage
Perdition is contrasted with salvation and is associated with final judgment and eternal loss of life. The title son of perdition is applied to Judas and to the Antichrist, signifying one devoted to final ruin. The term is also applied to the beast as a form of world-power subject to judgment.
