Perga
Perga was an important city of Pamphylia in Asia Minor. Paul, Barnabas, and John Mark visited it during the first missionary journey, and Paul later preached there.
Biblical Usage
Perga is associated with the missionary preaching of Paul and Barnabas and with John Mark’s departure from the missionary party and return to Jerusalem.
