Phoebe
Phoebe was a Christian woman from Cenchreae whom Paul commended to the believers at Rome. He described her as a servant of the church and a helper of many, asking the Romans to welcome and assist her.
Biblical Usage
Paul commended Phoebe to the Roman Christians and asked them to welcome her in the Lord and assist her in whatever matter she needed. Her ministry involved service, charity, hospitality, and support of believers.
