Principality
Principality can mean a ruling authority or governing power. In the New Testament it may refer to human authorities or to unseen angelic and demonic powers opposed to or serving God.
Biblical Usage
Christ is presented as exalted above every principality and power, and as triumphing over such powers. Christians are told to contend against spiritual powers, while the church reveals God’s manifold wisdom to principalities and powers in the heavenly places.
