REIGN
To reign means to exercise royal authority or dominion; a reign may also mean the period of a ruler’s government. Scripture applies the term to God, the Messiah, earthly kings, and figuratively to sin, death, and grace.

Scripture speaks of Yahweh, the Messiah, earthly kings, and kingdoms as reigning. It also uses the language figuratively of sin, death, and grace, and promises reigning to believers in the future glorious state.
