Rezon
Rezon was a Syrian leader who broke from Hadadezer of Zobah after David’s victory, captured Damascus, and became king of Syria. He opposed Israel throughout Solomon’s reign.
Biblical Usage
Rezon is presented as one of the adversaries whom God raised against Solomon. His opposition placed continuing pressure on Israel from the north.
