SALA, SALAH
Sala, or Salah, was a son of Arpachshad in the genealogical line from Shem. The New Testament genealogy follows the form preserved in the Greek Old Testament.
Biblical Usage
Sala appears as a son of Arpachshad in the genealogical line recorded in Genesis and Chronicles. Luke follows the form found in the Septuagint, corresponding to Shelah in the Hebrew Old Testament.
