Samaritan Pentateuch
The Samaritan Pentateuch is the Samaritan recension of the five books of Moses, written in a distinctive ancient Hebrew script. It was the only portion of the Jewish Scriptures accepted as divinely authoritative by the Samaritans.
Biblical Usage
The Samaritan Pentateuch represents the Law used in Samaritan worship and religious life. In some passages its readings agree with the Septuagint and with quotations found in the New Testament where they differ from the Jewish text.
