Saviour
Saviour means one who delivers from evil or danger. In its highest biblical sense, Jesus Christ is the Saviour who redeems sinners and applies salvation to them through the Holy Spirit.
Biblical Usage
The New Testament uses Saviour as a significant title, chiefly for Christ, while also applying it to the Father in several passages. The gospel is presented as the message of salvation, and faith in Jesus gives the sinner a personal interest in redemption.
